A new way forward
We began in 2023 making farewell stationery for grieving families. We learned something in those rooms: the words people wish they had said, they wish they had said sooner.
So Karuna has changed. We meet families where they are and we capture the everyday living — the cookout in the kitchen, the stroll around the shamba, the birthdays, the celebrations — while the laughter is still here. We also sit with the person whose story the family wants to capture for a facilitated interview at home or in the studio, and we record the stories that make them who they are.

Together, we research your family first, then design questions only your people could answer. On the day, someone - either a family member or a professional facilitator - sits with your father, your aunt, your grandmother and simply talk. What comes out is often something the family has never heard said out loud before.
